The Fabric Lab is a Hong Kong based textile studio that specializes in innovative technique that blend heritage craft with contemporary design. I was excited to work with Elaine Ng - the founder of Fabric Lab - to create jewelry that is inspired by and incorporates the hand made textiles from Guizhou culture. The collection I created mirrors the hand made artistry of the fabric through texture, and composition. I also explored multiple use pieces that can be worn more than one way.

Artist residency with Loupe Hong Kong

Loupe Hong Kong is an incubation space for jewelry craftspeople and designers who are interested in expanding their visions while engaging an international audience. The residency lasts from four to six months. Designers have use of studio space, teach workshops, and learn from industry leaders and master craftspeople. Loupe is supported by Chow Tai Fook jewelry.

Judaica

Judaica includes any ritual object that is used in coordination with Jewish ritual and ceremonial practice. The objects are often ornamented functional pieces that are intended to engage all aspects of human senses. It is important to use only materials that are not used for making war such as steel, or iron, thus precious and semi precious metals are typically used including gold and silver. I strive to honor the traditions of craftsmanship dating back to Bezalel.

The Polyhedra Yad is now in the permanent collection of the Barr Foundation
